Bush Regeneration is the rehabilitation of bush from a weed affected or otherwise degraded area to a healthier community of native plants and animals allowing a forest to flourish.
It has also been defined as “The practice of restoring bushland by reinstating and reinforcing the systems’ natural regeneration processes”

Used for assisted bush regeneration when there maybe a limited native seed stock in the soil or a fauna corridor is being created. For these sites Wanganui Green uses local nurseries in supplying plants propagated from local seed stock in an aim to return the site to a biodiverse state that it was prior to degradation.
